I have been conducting premarital counseling with couples for almost 20 years.  It's fun work for me and an exciting time of life for the couple who are planning their future together.  I utilize a formal assessment called Prepare Enrich that covers a vast range of areas and highlights the strengths and limitations of a couple.  Usually, 3 sessions are enough to cover the assessment adequately and the assessment is only an additional $35 per couple which is paid to PreA sampling of what Prepare Enrich assesses are finances, spirituality, family of origin, communication, conflict resolution, personality traits, parenting styles, sexual satisfaction, leisure activities and much, much more.  It's good insurance to know that you and your partner have turned over as many stones as possible to help ensure that an unexplored issue doesn't become a potential problem down the road.
